Ghost Stories (7): The Holy Spirit in Us

His presence and power give us what we need to live a Godly life and be a witness in the world.

The Holy Spirit sanctifies us.

hagiasmos (hag-ee-as-mos’): consecration, sanctification
The process of making or becoming holy or set apart.

Assignment: Pick a fruit each day over the next 9 days. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work in you to produce more of it in practical ways that day.

The Holy Spirit works in us similarly to how He worked within Jesus.

Paraclete: one who comes beside, or comes alongside.
He is a defender, counselor, advocate, supporter, comforter, advisor, supporter, ally, champion.

His presence and power gives us what we need to live a Godly life and be a witness in the world.

He helps us obey Jesus’ commands.
He bears witness about Jesus.
He guides us in all truth.
He speaks for Jesus.
